be nice to people who aren't nice

Guess it’s done.
Just gotta keep it on, and don’t let people take advantage of me thinking I’m stupid.
Set boundaries, respect each other, be nice, be happy =]

I’ve realized that the difficult thing is not to be nice to strangers who aren’t nice, but to be nice with friends that don’t treat you right.
I found myself fighting with a very good friend of mine and he was treating me pretty badly, and I had an incredibly hard time being nice to him.
I guess it’s just because it hurts more huh?

I’m not doing that looking for acceptance, or being liked or anything.
All of them, even the ones that might not seem worth of kindness sometimes, ‘cause maybe they are not in their bests, perhaps they don’t know how to act towards a certain situation.
I just wanna know that deep down I treat everybody nicely, not being fake, but because I WANT TO BE THAT WAY.

I don’t know exactly why I did this, but honestly, it makes you a more likable person. It makes you seem like more of a pushover, but it makes you happier.
