it’s more that i just have never quite learned how to take a complement. i’m that girl that, when complemented, tends to make a sarcastic comment or redirect the conversation somehow rather than dealing with the oh so uncomfortable actual situation. i remember someone once said to me “you’re my ideal type of girl” and, not knowing really what to say, i stated “you have terrible taste in women. we need to work on that.” at least my sense of humor is in tact right?
