I think my first goal is not eating this unless I have to, unless Im with friends and nothing else is offered and they can buy for me. sounds terrible but i think it could be a start. im also excluding subway out of this for beginners. I wonder if food court food applies too, but i’ll have to think that over. i think if i go one or two months without doing this then i’ll be good.

It comes too quickly and tastes too greasy. All that remains from these meals are several wrappers and lingering regrets. And the aftertaste. I need to consider fast food a form of crack cocaine and stay far from it as I can. Maybe some people can eat it in moderation, and others can use crack responsibly? I’m not one of them.

And it is SO difficult… my college campus has only one restaurant nearby, where EVERYONE goes during breaks… Jack In the Box!
I really hope I can follow through on this.

We had Wendy’s last night. We had skipped lunch to be on time for an appointment with the doctor, and then we ended up spending 4 hours in the doctor’s office. We should have come home and had something quick, but we went to Wendy’s near the pharmacy instead… Leaving aside all possible ethical and social concerns, I never make the right choices for my health when faced with a fast food menu and it costs more than cooking at home.

I got 6 fast food shops around my place. 2 chicken shops, 1 fish and chips shop, a Turkish kebab shop, an iranian/iraqi/chinese “restaurant”, indian place, as a student this might be one of the hardest tasks ever.

I work for a Youth Ministry and barely am ever ever EVER home. I see my friends at work more then I do my family. Needless to say I eat out more then I eat IN.
I can be SO much healthier and save SO much money if I make my food before hand and take it with me. I cant let go of fast food ALL The way yet, but someday I want to be totally off of it. It’ll be a great process :)
