live in Ireland for a while

I visited Dublin last year for 10 days. It doesn’t quite count as “living” there, but it was a step in the right direction. I have just recently found out that my GI bill that I will be using to go to college will pay for foreign schools. I plan to take a whole year at Trinity College. I have my admissions forms already, and I am looking into how to apply for a student visa, which is an incredibly convoluted process (if anyone has done this, PLEASE leave a comment with some advice or instructions!!).
