visit my friends

Back from Colorado and missing my friends more than I thought possible. As lucky would have it, not only did I schedule to spend time with my friends, but I also had a dozen random run-ins with people. Guess the Universe thought I needed to see them even more than I did.

I guess it was meant to happen. I was wondering how I was going to come up with the money for airfare when I get an email about Cheaptickets.com having some good deals. When I checked it out, the ticket (round-trip, no layovers) was the cheapest I’ve ever seen it.

I’m going!

May 21st – May 26th. It’ll be a short trip (since I’m quickly running out of vacation time) to see everyone, but it’s better than nothing.

to go see J9, Tiffs, and Kriz before the end of June. J9 is leaving for Norway forever and ever on June 30th.

reasons for this never coming to fruition,
we’ve had lots of unforseen big things to deal with and
time away from home by myself visiting friends has had to
be put on hold.
Im in a much better place dealing with missing my friends,
but boy, I can wait to just be with them.
Im hoping early in the new year I can get some trips
booked. I think booking way in advance is the way to go,
otherwise I know I won’t prioritise myself….and
you know, put family stuff first.
There’s still a teeny glimmer of hope I get to London before Christmas, I shall see, and I shall dream.

Whilst its not yet August, I could’nt make it down to see Rob because of the ‘issues’ going on for Mum.
It was’nt to be : (
I miss him lots & he would be good for me at the moment,
give me a fresh perspective.
I shall still get to visit, but Im a little in the dumps about not seeing him sooner.

I have made my arrangements for London which may be as soon as next week.
I got a push with this as Rob ‘threw a coconut’ at me on face book & I knew it was time to hook-up ! (I usually get flowers or a nice suprise gift!)
Barcelona will be August.
However theres a slim chance Amanda could be coming to the UK before then.
So YAY !!!

I have some great friends.
They put up with my sporadic correspondence, being a Virgo & fussing like a mum.
I will take time out to visit & just chill out together.

I had the best time reconnecting with those I love and who make my life happy. :) I can’t wait for the chance to see them again!
