I am from Virginia! But i live in California! This is going to be amazing!
How I did it: hopped on a plane to california. scooped up some of hermosa beach's beuatiful blue water into a bottle and took it home. went to the dirty jerz (<3) and poured it in on the most beautiful day i've ever been there. :)

I’m leaving for the Caribbean tomorrow. I’ll be able to fill a bottle from the Atlantic Ocean. :)

This is such a sweet thing to do: I absolutely love it!
I may go to LA this summer; I just hope I’ll be able to go to the Atlantic Ocean later this year.
Or … is it possible to do it the other way around? ;)
do this with me?
Would you travel with me, from one coast to the other; just to collect a bottle of water?
Would you rejoice in the moment, the moment of dumping one ocean into the other, like I would?
I’d like to think you would…:)
I know you would…:)

I think when I do this I will truly feel I have traveled.I will probably fill it from Japan/Australia/South east Asia and when I travel to the U.S/Canada/Mexico/Africa or Europe’s west coast I plan to empty it out.

Utterly pointless, I know, but hey, why not? :) It gives me a personal goal if ever we can go to California!

It’s as exhilarating as you imagine. (And I still have a jar of Atlantic Ocean with white sand – Florida coast; and a jar of Pacific Ocean – Tofino, BC with tan sand) sitting in my NW (helpful people and travel gua) as a memory decoration.
