    Watch. This. Space 8 months ago

    I tell you, after my exams are over, 43T had better watch out, because I will be back and badder than ever! (Ha! And I have even used red font for the first time as an emphatic underlining of my badness!)

    For the moment, though, I am contenting myself with reading other people’s entries in my study breaks, and my brain is whirring away with inspiration and goals that I am going to add. Weee!

    My list of goals just looks so … blah (for want of a more descriptive word) to me right now.

    Things like “eat better” and “practice yoga” seem so unattainable at the moment (although my eating has been much better over the last little while).

    I am just, prima facie (to use a swanky legal phrase), uninspired. I don’t know why. I need to break these goals down into less initmidating chunks, and then actually work on them, instead of spending my time on 43T idly scrolling through what other people are doing or completing.

    I would like my list to include:
    • university-related goals
    • goals concerning my overall health and the small steps I can take to improve that
    • money goals $$$
    • personal development goals
    • relationship goals
    • at least one long-term goal that helps me keep the bigger picture in mind

    Oh, the apathy!

    While Atlas Shrugged rocks my world, and I get giddy when I hear the question “Who is John Galt?”, it was time for a change. I hope this gives me a zing of energy to assess and refine my goals.

    I’m disinclined to post, I’m spending more time reading about what other people are achieving than doing so myself. Maybe it’s because many of my goals are unquantifiable and aren’t broken down into nice, meaty chunks that I can sink my teeth into. Maybe it’s because I’m a bit indifferent towards life in general lately.

    Whatever the cause, I need a kick up the pants.

    I’m not sure if my goals are “real” goals or not.. I think some of them are just what I feel at the moment, I think I use “43things” to express myself more..I need to think about my “real” goals and re-do my list..
