We bought my wife a Kindle, and then we bought each of our kids one too. Since we are going on a huge trip we thought these would keep them entertained on the way and then we wouldn’t have to cart 100’s of books. We also bought a portable DVD player. I finally bought a bike. Unfortunately, they measured me and they could not move the seat back far enough. I noticed that I kept trying to push myself back further up the seat while I was biking. I have 30 days to change my mind. Other than that, it’s a wonderful machine. 13 months ago

the laws for charities and the money in each of the scout accounts will only be able to pay for fees not equipment. The reason is that if someone raises funds, they should not be able to use the items they buy other than what it was intended for. It makes sense. My son does have over $2,000 in his Scout account that we want to burn up before the changes take place. This week we bought his two sleeping bags and a sleeping pad. The intent is that he can use them when he is camping with his den or at camp. 14 months ago

myself some snowshoes. We had so little snow that I’ve only taken them out once to try them out. I was able to walk up a step snowy hill, and I crossed a tiny stream. I’m quite happy with them.

I’m currently pricing bikes. I want a very comfortable bike that can travel on gravel bike paths.

DW and I are considering getting a top of the line dehydrator. Our current one requires much babysitting. Dehydrated food would make camping and backpacking easier. 14 months ago
