finish watching 'The X-Files'

Now that I’ve finally graduated (after about a month of a work-eat-sleep-work rhythm), I may find the time again to finally finish the last season!

Oh wow… I think I won the three-in-a-row game here ;).

Wow… I’ve seen a lot of X-Files last week… almost a whole season. I think it was a great season, and if it had ended there it would have been fine with me.

Now it’s time for the last season. I’ve seen the first three episodes now, but I can’t say I’m raving.

I mean, that whole supersoldier-thing, I’m not buying it. It’s not that the whole alien conspiracy thing wasn’t far fetched, but it had a solid build-up over quite a few seasons. This is just like “we need a new conspiracy, but we’re out of ideas” or something. I hope it gets better soon.

...so, I’m almost done. Too bad they’ve mostly done away with Mulder, but it’s a welcome change as well… keeps it from being too much of the same thing all over again.

I was a big fan of the show but lost interest in it during the late 1990s, after Duchovny left the show and was replaced by the FBI Agent John Doggett (Robert Patrick).

The show was eventually cancled in Israel (where I used to live) around 1999 and I never got to see the last two seasons. I would love to see those last seasons or at least the highlighted episodes and to see how the show was resolved.

p.s – I heard lately that they are planning to produce yet another x-files film.
