did this in high school just for kicks. lol. It’s always fun to see what crazy poses you can get into before the camera flashes again. If you’re wondering what in the heck we’re doing, those are supposed to be kissy faces. lol. (I’m the one on the right.) : )

good memories in those photo booths! 2 years ago

there’s lots of them at Seaside Heights and other boardwalks. it’s better if you do a black and white one instead of those cutesey color ones with the silly frames. relax and make some faces and you’ll have some priceless photos! doing with a person (or two) you are comfortable with makes it even more fun!

    Some tips 3 years ago

    1. The more, the merrier. I am not advocating the act of cramming an entire football team into the booth, but I am not completely writing off the idea.

    2. Don’t expect the pictures to look like you. They seldom do.

    3. Black and white is a better option than color, if it is offered.

    4. The older booths are more fun, and the photos are generally more artistic and less pixely.

    5. Even if this is for your passport photo, you must have at least one goofy shot.

Photobooths are pretty much everywhere in Japan, and common in China, too. I’ve got lots of photobooth pictures, but these are some of my favorites. Two of my students in China asked me to take some with them before I left.
