We had a backgammon meetup last night. The games went much as they had in the past in that I beat players I had previously beaten, and lost to players I’d previously lost to. Except I lost a backgammon to SteveW.
Backgammon is fine if you don’t mind losing. I’m getting better at this, although I left hurriedly after that backgammon. That was more to do with not feeling accepted by the other players, I’m so sensitive about that kind of thing these days.
Anyway, backgammon is a great game.

...my luck didn’t hold tonight and I lost all three matches. At least it keeps my backgammon buddy interested. The games would be more interesting I feel if Bob took more risks, I always have to do all the work.

WE got the backgammon bug, my wife and I. I got to where I was playing everyday for at least half an hour, but often more than that.
There are quite a few sites where you can play on line.

...as Bob has often observed. But I should enjoy my winning streak while it lasts.

...again tonight, two outings in a row! My backgammon buddy must be feeling pretty sore just now.
Naturally I consider myself to be the better player, or at least more willing to take a risk.
Love backgammon!

...need some sort of IM software to alert me to online status of other Scottish players.
Starting a bg club in Edinburgh is too big a step.
