ggaarBeen a student and a practitioner for a very long time now...

The blade and wielder are one. It has been said, written, and passed on from generation to generation. It is never the blade that cuts but more so the mind that understands it and respecdts it. Angelo’s Manual of Arms, the Five Rings of Bushido, and countless other books, manuals, and tomes have showed how to not only swing it physically but mentally as well. We can also speak about the honor one has from knowing this knowledge, this art, this deadly ability. The concept of honor is taking that knowledge and knowing how to use it as the tool it was meant to be. 18 months ago

Lady of ShalottThe Blade

Sharp; it cuts through everything. The facade, the fake… yes, even the illusion.

The blade reflects the beauty of knowing eyes and lips that have been kissed by the cherry blossom.

By it’s reputation, it protects. By it’s beauty, it is merciless. By it’s reflection, it honors truth.

The blade calls to me; it comes to me.. becomes an extension, I take it into me; now one with my soul.

There is nothing to cut through. I am a soul; no fake; no facade. 2 years ago
