I want to learn and develop my screen printing to support myself and get off the grid:D

I AM UNEMPLOYED AND I WANT TO DO MY OWN BUSINESS WITH A NEGLIBLE INVESTMENT
i finally learned how to screen print. not even near mastering the skill but i’ve gotten the basic fundamentals down. my brother has a full-blown screenprinting studio in his basement and he’s going to let me take over and print until my little heart desires. after my girls are tucked in, i spend a couple hours illustrating designs until my eyes are bloodshot. after 10+ years designing strictly on a computer, it makes for some rusty gears. i’m getting a hang of it again though—feels good!
Putting this on hold. I don’t have the space to do this, nor the money to buy the supplies (or, rather, I do, but I have other expenses that are more pressing).
The great thing about screenprinting is the ability to print on all kinds of surfaces and objects, not just flat media. I’ve screenprinted on shirts and mirrors and glass, and would love to try printing on objects. I’ve heard this is done by printing on a special kind of paper which you then wrap around an object and transfer the print. Great!
And I would love to screenprint on walls. Screenprint-graffiti.
i’ve started to learn screenprinting, but just like with photography, i want to be better. the most layers i’ve done is three, & i want to become better at aligning layers. i’d also love to screenprint some shirts, & then possbily other things.
i’ve illustrated some images that i want to screenprint onto a lampshade to go in my daughter’s room. from there, i want to move into a “wall collage” of screenprinted works and natural materials (which is the best way to describe it). who knows? maybe pillows, shirts and sheets next. my brother is teaching me the basics this weekend, so we’ll see where i land. i’m hoping to set up a makeshift shop in my basement if the dog will allow me the room.
