Go back to Maui

Hopefully this summer, so I can once again sit under the Bayan Tree.

probably the most beautiful place on earth

We enjoyed a relaxing week in the sun and sand – not too long, but long enough to get revitalized for the business start-up that lies ahead. I went surfing along the Kihei coast, as well as the upper North side and Poipu Beach where we got married. I noticed a lot of turtles this time while snorkeling. I don’t know if it’s the time of year or what, but we usually go around September. Needless to say, the water was really nice, but initially cold!

The farmiliar scenes of our usual resort grounds gave us an imediate sense of home. The skies where clear and the temperature a perfect 85 degrees throughout the week. We had the most amazing drive to Hana, stopping once again at the seven sacred pools for a nice hike up the cliffs, and dive into the deep black waters.

It feels refreshing to get back to my home and into my usual routine, but have a tan to kick off my new Summer!

The time has come to relax and enjoy the fruits of our labor. Maui is calling… and when I get the Maui bug, it tends to consume me. Since we were married there ten years ago, and continued to return over the years, it seems the perfect time to revisit our memories.

In this chaotic race of events in my present life, I think a few restful moments are just the thing to sooth the restless soul.

I flew on a one way ticket and never returned…

Its been over a year since I went to maui w/ my older bro and his wife’s family, and I have missed the island ever since! If there was any chance to go back, even for a day, I would take it. It really is the only life for me!

I leave in a few days. I can’t wait!

Awww, i miss Maui so much,even though i was there for two weeks…it feels like yesterday that i was there and it was August 2004…i really badly want to go back…it was amazing there,it felt like i belonged.

I can’t believe it’s been 13 years…I was there in February 1992 and it still seems like it was yesterday…everything was so vivid and alive and beautiful there. Gots to get me back there!
