How I did it: During a cruise stop in Puerto Vallarta, I decided to go on the "Extreme Canopy Adventure" excursion, which included several ziplines, and a rappel down a rock wall near a waterfall. I just listened to what the tour guides told me about keeping my legs straight, and used walking motions to get down the wall. The initial movement off of the platform is probably the scariest part for anyone who is doing this for the first time.
