I’m already trying this for 5 days!
I feel so good about it! not eating meat makes me feel fit and my skin is pure! I love it
But I will never be a hardcore vegetarian, because I like meat now and then too, besides, it’s stupid when I’m eating with a friend and her parents have to make something else for me..

How I did it: I tried it out, and while it started off okay, within a few days, I was eating crappy food full of empty calories, but it was okay because it wasn't meat. I didn't like that at all. On top, I caught a cold I haven't been able to shake and I feel that poor eating habits are a big part of that. If you can do veg completely healthy, good for you. I'm going from here and focusing on using meat as a side or addition and not the meal as a whole. Read how I did it…

I’m eating meat once a day and sometimes less. I don’t count pringles and m&m’s as a healthy vegetarian choice. That’s where the other 1/3 comes in… a turkey sandwich or something. But I don’t mindlessly consume meat anymore, it’s always a conscious decision and I’m really happy with that. Having my 1/3 exception also works nicely when other people are preparing meals and are unaware or haven’t gotten used to my majority-meatless meals. =)

I’ve had about 5 meals with meal.
I’ve noticed I feel better when I don’t eat it, but feel just as bad if I substitute junk food for meat. So for now, I’m sticking to the 2/3 thing and working to make sure my meals are “healthy” and not just “free of meat.”

The term I’m using now is “two-thirds vegetarianism.”
On average, 2 of my meals a day are vegetarian, the 3rd is not.
Not a very orthodox method, but when I eat meat lately, I tend to think of dead animals. This is how I’ve been coping with that feeling, so I’ve decided to make it a goal to look for ideas, research, and people with similar mindsets.
Have made it a month and bit more so far. Only accidentally ate meat once. yay.

I was a vegetarian for quite some time, and even now I don’t eat meat unless I go out or make it a point to do so. Vegetarianism isn’t quite so hard as veganism, and it’s very good for your health. It’s easy! Give it a try!
i decided to try to go vegetarian for a month just to see if i could do it. i was raised on a farm in iowa and was very much a meat-eater. i was just curious to see if i would be able to hold out for a month. it was really difficult at first but then i began to look at food differently and tried new recipes and new restaurants that i overlooked before. i conquered my one month challenge and continued not eating meat for four months after just because i liked it. i felt better and it was good to challenge myself.
