Woo kids!

I’ve been babysitting once a week at the local church for 5-10 kids at a time. It’s pretty fun, but CRAZY! Also, a bunch of my friends are having babies, so I have little cheeks to pinch left and right.

Today was my first sunday assisting in the 3 year old classroom. I’m now teaching / helping (on various days of the week) kids aged between 1.5 – 5.5 years old.
The classroom is probably the most depressing one in the building since it has no windows and uses darker carpeting and wall colors (though the walls have paintings on them).
The kids in the service before mine were really cute. They were still cute for my service, but not quite so much. Also, there were only 6 of them.
Myself and the other teacher were having off days so I was kinda passive and not as directing as I should have been. One of the little girls had to get 2 time-outs. One given by myself, the other by the teacher. Meanwhile, another kid had diarreah then vomited twice in a row later on. The other four were okay, though.
Hopefully myself and the kids will be more up to speed next week.
Still, on the upside, I got to play cars with kids and we all enjoyed it. I’m making new friends and they’re precious to God.
