    what an experience! Granted, I ended up using 2.5 sick days at work following the procedure, it’s still great to know that I helped someone. Make sure you eat before/after, drink plenty of fluids.. I still feel a bit weak/dizzy/nauseous, and I gave on Tuesday at a drive the red cross did at my place of employment. As a 1st timer, you may even want to have someone else drive you. GO SAVE THE WORLD!

    i can no longer do this, because I lived for almost a full year in Germany. It felt good to do when I did.

    I actually don’t know of another blood bank. I have only ever given blood through the Red Cross.
