How to start wearing hats
How I did it: The way I did it was ease in. I think there's an order of hats from normal to more fashion-forward, and you can get people (or mostly yourself) used seeing you in hats. I've always worn baseball caps, as do many males, so I feel like that's the bottom rung of hat wearing. Beanies are down there too, but I got some stylish knit caps that I rock from time to time. Then I got one of the Fidel Castro type hats that are a little trendy. Very similar to a baseball cap, but a little more "fashionable". I started to get lots of compliments on it. Eventually it was no big deal for me to wear. Next I found a newsboy cap I really liked, and bought it. That went over pretty well, and now I own three in that style - they're my favorite kinds. I guess this sounds kind of silly writing this all out, but that's what I did to get more confident in wearing hats. Now if I see a hat I like in the store, I feel OK buying it and I feel like I can pull it off.

My school refuses the students to wear hats at all times.
I don’t have much time after school, and what little time I do have, it’s at home, just lounging around.
I’ll have to wait another year before I can wear hats during the morning and afternoon.
I love hats but lack the self confidence to actually wear them…I always feel like I look slightly queer…I bought this one with my sister a couple years ago—I loved it but rarely wore it because of the afore mentioned reason…
i wear all sorts of hats in the cooler months. i have yet to get some summer hats, or just all-purpose hats, though!
A hat is nearly always help full … if theres to much sun, you have shadow, if its raining you stay dry … well at least your head and overal … it simply looks good.
I love hats, they are such a neat way to express yourself. I love your idea to wear vintage hats like bowlers, that will give you a better ROI than hats that are trendy right now.
Personaly I’ve found i look best in Seat-top Hats. Like fidoras and such, that were popular for most of the last century. I Can’t get away with pork pies or beanies, but you clearly can.
You have to find a style that you can own, something that can become “your look” only then will you have unlocked the true glory of hat wearing.
im wearing one of my two hats evry day, either my blue woolly one or my purple, i bought the purple the other day, i love it its bright nd happy
