start a non profit organization

1. Go to school for my Masters in Nutritional Sciences (the program in one year long & it will give me time to see how I feel about being back in school & also give me an opportunity to do some awesome research!

2. Earn my Masters degree

3. Decide if I want to still get my degree as a Naturopathic Doctor

or

Get my PhD in Nutritional Sciences

I’m not sure why all this really really excites me, but it does!

With some creativity, college money, and a desire to help. Money to HIV/AIDS research.

If I could create some organization that combined the goals, missions and love of PETA, To Write Love On Her Arms and Invisible Children…that’d be amazing. Quite ambitious and a bit ADD, but hey, how cool would that actually be?

I want to start a philanthropic organization that focuses on developing infrastructure necessary for access to clean water and sanitation services.

Over 1 billion people don’t have access to clean water
2.6 billion people don’t have access to basic sanitation

I want to bring those numbers down.

I’ve printed the Paperwork! Now I’ve just got to figure it all out.. My paypal donate button is already in full force :P

I thinking about an organization that helps the education system in third world countries. Progress begins with education after all. My husband thinks we should educate third world countries about business and give them loans to boost the economy of their country. Both are good ideas…either way, it is a couple years away before we begin such a project.

I’m sort of on my way to achieving this. My siblings and I have technically founded the organization, but nothing’s come of it yet (we’re all so damn busy…can’t seem to make it a priority somehow).
