If it comes to Tokyo, my wife and I would like to do this.

I won’t have the time or money to even attend the Beijing Olympics this year, let alone volunteer. I guess I’ll start thinking about London for 2012. I’m also rooting for Rio for 2016, though it’s disappointing that Doha, Qatar, is out of the running.
I love the Olympics! I have always been interested in it. My mother and I have watched them together as long as I can remember. I really wanna volunteer and work at the Olympics!
Well I took the first step today!! I sent in the application forms and now I just have to wait and see what happens! If you wanna check it out the website is http://www.ebeijing.gov.cn/
Wish me luck, keep your fingers crossed!!

... not because it’s not a worthy thing to aspire towards, but because i think it’s not something that i really see myself doing in 2008.
this is the first goal i’m removing in 2006, gotta make the list of things as congruent to my realigned goals as possible (something i’m still figuring out)
I’m planning to move to China for awhile a year from now. Hopefully I can volunteer for the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
I was a volunteer at the table tennis venue in Atlanta. I had volunteered with state tournements and knew the organizing people. I had experience and they wanted people involved with the national sport as the volunteers on the playing floor. There were plenty of other jobs though. If you are a medical professional, a translator, a broadcaster, crime enforcement, or security. You also mostly have to be there for the whole 3 weeks too.
I’d like to work at the 2008 summer olympics in Beijing, but seeing as I don’t know Chinese, it might be more feasible to wait until 2010 and go to Vancouver. Has anyone done this before?
