How I did it: I was just waiting till Patrick come to my country. The opportunity came this year, because he's releasing a new album and is having a tour round Europe (my country was included for the first time, yay!), so I've bought tickets and waited for the show ;) Needed to rich its destination by train, but it was totally worth it, I got an autograph from his violinist and almost went backstage (if not the bossy bodyguard from the club who was making fuss about everything.. :< maybe next time). Anyway the concert was great and I had a lot of fun there! :) Read how I did it… 2 years ago

The ticket arrived yesterday!! I’m so excited! Now I have two months to wait and to worry about how to get there! ^^ 2 years ago
So: he’s coming to my country (April 6th!!) for the first time and I think I’m going to buy a ticket tomorrow (if there are any left.. I hope there are!) and then I’ll have a problem how to get to the concert :/ it’s far from my city, but I think I’ll manage, probably go there by train.. 2 years ago
Bought tickets for me and my best friends to go see him in March
. I can imagine some hyperventilating is going to happen, possible screaming and you never know maybe crying.
This as only been like what? 4 years in the making
Happy times 2 years ago
that will be hard, cause I’m pretty sure he won’t come to Poland. And I don’t have money to go see him somewhere in London for example.. But maybe someday.. :> 2 years ago
How I did it: I went to Planeta Terra Festival on São Paulo, which hapenned november 7th of 2009. I went to the stage he was going to performer earlier to be sure I would get in the front row in the middle. It was an amazing and crazy show, the public was super excited, and Patrick is an amazing performer, singer, musician and entertainer in general. Before the show me and my friends even got to talk to him and take a picture, he was very sweet to everybody. Read how I did it… 3 years ago
The tickets for Planeta Terra Festival are bought, the excursion is payed, now the only thing to do is wait (and prepare mentaly and physically) for what is going to be one of the best days ever (Oct 7th!) 3 years ago
How I did it: I bought a ticket to the Way out West festival in Gothenburg, Sweden and sat outside the festival area for six hours before Patrick played. I stod in the front. It was FANTASTIC. I cried like a baby, and he watched me for a couple of seconds and smiled. Then he came down from the stage and tok my hand. He also gave me the mic during Hard Times, and let me sing with him. Best experience eever! Read how I did it… 3 years ago
I finally got to see him earlier this month at the highline ballroom in nyc. I didn’t want the show to end! He was SO good, very worth the wait! 3 years ago
He was funny, engaging, and an AMAZING performer. Fantastic. 5 years ago
He came out in this wig and I was thinking…”Umm. Okay.” and then after that initial shock it was all uphill, in the “You’re not riding a bike” way. 5 years ago
I put this away in my “I give up” and now miraculously I’m going to see him in my home city! Yay! I’ll report on how it goes, then be able to say, “I’ve done this!” 5 years ago
Saw him at the Thekla in Bristol in February, with fabulous support from No Bra, lol – what a double bill! 6 years ago
I could have seen him live! Yeah, “could have”—it’s an over-18s club he’ll be playing at in October. It’s strict and they wouldn’t let me purchase tickets.
Woe.
And when I am eighteen, he’ll probably be playing arenas and attempting world domination. Not that that’s a bad thing, really… it’d just be nice to say, “I was there before y’all,” and preen and stuff. =( 6 years ago
There is nothing that could explain the urge to see Patrick Wolf live and actully hear his voice flow from his lips. He is absolutly amazing and is one of the biggest inspirations to my creative side. I guess whats holding me back is I am (unfortunally) under 21, I don’t have my license yet, and he, so far, only tours in Europe which is a problem for the fact that I am a country over in the US. 7 years ago
