I was once challenged to write a list of 1,000 things that make me happy.
I did it. There’s nothing to it once you get past like 200. Just sit down and start, one thing will remind you of another. It can be the stupidest little thing that give you a place to start.
For example, the smell of scotch tape makes me happy. One of my favorite things to do is wrap presents. I love unique wrapping paper. I have a thing for stationary. I love writing to the people I love. I love receiving mail from the people I love.
Just let something be a springboard and you’ll find that 1,000 doesn’t seem like enough.
