It made me

 "I use a post office which is open pretty much 24/7 so even if I have a package/box which doesn't fit in my PO Box, I can still get it. :D"
How I did it: Find a post office which is convenient. Figure out the POBox size you want. and ... All you have to do is be willing to spend a few minutes and some money to do this. |

How I did it: Once I set aside a time to do it it was really easy. All I ad to do was go to my nearest post office, fill in a form with my details and pay the annual fee... Plain and Simple Read how I did it…

I waited so long I don’t need a PO Box- I just moved to a new community where I have a mailbox!!!

I need to do this goal. I have a letter written out to someone that was once like my big brother. I don’t want him to have my real address because of where he is, so if I had a PO box, he could send me a letter back to it and he wouldnt know what my address actually is. hmm? good idea I think. Plus, its not like they are expensive, they are 20 dollars for 6 months… I’m just too lazy to go out there and start one. pathetic.

I just found http://www.postcardx.net/ through a link here at 43Things but am wary of posting my home address online. I called the post office and for the pretty small fee of $48/year, I can have a post office box. I just need to get myself to the post office and fill out a form and wait until they have a box available. :)

Even though my addy has been online at various sites for a while now and I’ve not had any trouble stemming from that, I still feel like it would be ‘better’ or ‘safer’ if I had a PO Box. The things holding me back at the moment are 1.the cost, 2.that I feel weird about getting ALL my mail redirected to a box, 3.a stupid angst about wasting already made addy labels (weird I know but…).
