Mont Blanc looks to be on the cards for 2010 and possibly staying on for the Matterhorn. Just got to make sure I save the money!

In July 2004 I climbed Mont Blanc for the charity RADAR. This was an incredible experience, made all the better by the team of guides and climbers. The weather was also great, and we had great views in all directions.
Jez Caudle is looking after his 9 month old son.
I attempted the peak in 2000 but was stopped by the weather, not being fit enough. Also the lack of help from the guide didn’t help.
I am now attempting the peak in 2010 and hoping to raise £5000 for St Clare’s Hospice (http://stclareshospice.co.uk/).

I summitted Mt. Blanc via the Mont Blanc traverse in Sep. 2004. This was quite an expedition. We summitted in the midst of a blizzard and had one of our party fall in a crevasse but we made it to the summit and descended safely with no problems.
Been in Chamonix since Dec 05, takign a breakway for the Autumn but will be back from start Dec 06
Elaine, Steffi and I were all set for late Sept, the weather was perfect the week before but the guide wasn’t available. I even spent a few days working on my lappy at the Aiguille du Midi suckign down the thin air.
Then the weeather changed, the refuges closed and it was all over.
Here’s hoping for the Spring!

...someday soon, my friends…someday soon!!
I wanted to set myself a goal which was hard to reach but also realistic, so I’ve given myself 5 years to get there. Well, it was 2 years ago but I had a glitch – a knee bu** whilst mountain biking…so I’ve added the 2 years back!
..who climbed Mont Blanc and died. But 12 years later. So I dont think the two events were related.
