create a beautiful peaceful home

I think my townhouse is beautiful. I don’t need to add a single thing.

I rearranged the family room slightly Friday. I moved the piano and the cd cabinet to different locations. I also closed up the secretary and put the chair for it in the lounge. This seemed to create more walking room – a more spacious feel. I also edited accessories and moved the globe out. I love the look of surfaces free from knick-knacks and gobelty goo all over the place. I really love the new look of the room.

I cleaned the kitchen, dining, and family rooms today. I also got all the laundry caught up and washed and ironed the sheets. I still need to do the bathrooms tomorrow, but I feel so much better already. When my world is in order, I feel more ordered and peaceful.

I am fully satisfied with the state of my dining room! That’s wonderful to have one room in your home exactly the way you want it. One room in which you wouldn’t change a thing. I am working toward having all the rooms reach this state, but it just doesn’t happen overnight. I want my home to be a haven from the crazy world outside its four walls. I want my home to be a place where I feel peace overwhelm me upon walking through the front door. I am getting there!
