How I did it: I joined the school orchestra in 5th grade. I don't remember exactly how long it took me to actually learn how to play it but I played for 8 years. I was in my school's orchestra all 8 years and took private lessons for at least 2 or those years. I would have been better if I had practiced more. So I would suggest to those that truly want to learn how to play an instrument well, to set plenty of time aside for practicing. Have plenty of p… Read how I did it…

I love my Apple. I hope in the future I can play some intrument for him or with him. That’s very romantic. That’s about living instead of just surviving.
Emilie Who knows what to do without people that inspires you
It all started three months ago. I had a new subject in school; music. I was so unsure because im way better at Art. Maybe even drama. Yet i choose music. I did it because I need to have fun and do what i feel for even if i dont know exactly how to do it. Plus i do know how to sing and dance…
First lesson i learned two acords to Stand By Me on guitarr. Second lesson I learned the intro to Final Countdown on piano and also the two first lines in the swedish song “Himlen runt hörnet” (heaven around the corner) on piano as well. I love this!
I said to myself I gotta try to develop even more and i probably will this summer, fall.
Right now in music class we are doing a project. Me and three of my friends are making a musicvideo and i wrote the lyrics together with a friend and will coreograph/sing. Hope it will go well :)
Wish me luck!

I bought a cheap harmonica about 3 years ago with a lot of enthusiasm about learning to play it. I started the first few weeks ok but then I got bored practicing the same tune trying to get it right. I felt sad for my neighbours who must be hearing my attempts to play over and over again and maybe conscious i wasn’t progressing fast.
I think I need to go for it again but if I’m boring myself I need to try new tunes.
I’ve always wanted to play something, but I grew up poor and we couldn’t afford no fancy music boxes. It’s a toss up between piano and sax, any thoughts?
Spring cleaning my list so marking this one off.
Although I didnt learn a new instrument I already learnt piano and flute so I reckon I can still count this one as done ;)

I can read music, so thats a head start.
I can play piano and flute – but I wana learn something different!
I cant really do this at the moment as I live in a flat so my neighbours wouldn’t be too happy with me practising…
I’m thinking Sax, drums, harp… anything would be cool! Guitar is out the window – I tried teaching myself but It hurt my fingers too much – I swear my fingers weren’t stong enough to hold the strings down properly!
