see a polar bear

as you can see (by my avatar) i like polar bears. I want to see one close up in the wild, that would be so cool

In the wild. Polar bears should only be in the wild.

It’s definitely worth it to see a polar bear (from a distance) in the wild. I hope to do this again… and next time I want to see a walrus, too. I went to Barrow, Alaska, but at the wrong time of year when the ice pack was still far from the mainland. Polar bears would come ashore, but not the walrus. Next time…

I’ve seen them in zoos, where they generally walk round in circles all day.
