How to add album art to my MP3 files
How I did it: If you don't want change the original album art release of the album, use iTunes. But before, you musthave iTunes ID OR Amazon ID. Then sign in. When you signed in, you're now able to add album art automatically by, right click, then select add album art. It was so simple and easy.
IF you don't have iTunes, you can try WMP 9 or earlier to add album art manually. HOW? search the album art at Google, than save the image. Drag and drop the image file to album cover on the now playing, and you got it.
Any questions will be answered ASAP. Thanks!
Lessons & tips: It was so easy and simple, no much time needed. Don't try to use FixTunes it will disappointed yourself. There's a limitation for adding album art.
Resources: iTunes, iTunes ID, WMP 9, Google

Thanks to Kelly from FixTunes for leaving a comment on my blog and LJ about my situation. To explain, I was trying to work with ALL of my MP3 files at once which is not something I normally do, I only do it in groups such as, right after I rip the CDs. Over all I am happy with FixTunes, that’s why I bought it.
So I finally broke down and bought a license for FixTunes, primarily for the album art feature since I am plenty happy with Jaikoz for tagging. So even though I am not really using FixTunes for tagging, that feature of it disappointed me. Why? Sorry but Every track of the Grits album “The Art of Translation” is NOT the same song. It identifies the entire album as the same song, and the files are already tagged correctly so there’s no reason for it to be doing that. That’s why I will ONLY use it for the album art.

I’m syncing the new files to my iPod as I type this. I’m so excited! My iPod is going to look so pretty now. :) I’m just so glad this is complete. I’ve worked hard on it!
I said that it took me 5 months to complete, since that’s when I started the goal (which included procrastinating and getting my laptop repaired), but in reality, the actual work of getting art for 1800 MP3s only took about 5 days.

Almost all the mp3s have art. Now I have to go back and make sure the full albums all have art… I’m up to all the Big Shiny Tunes now on the double-check. I’ll probably have this done with one more day’s work.

I’m up to albums starting with T now. I missed a couple because they’ve been hard to find, and I’ll need to go back and make sure that full albums all have art associated with them (now that I know how to do them all at once, rather than one at a time, haha). My iPod and iTunes are looking so pretty!

Now that my laptop is fixed, I can continue on with this goal.
