HOMETOWN GLORY Scream loud. Louder.
How I did it: I went when I was younger a lot, but I recently went with my friend Brian in the summer. We were planning it for awhile and finally went. We brought a backpack full of some food and drinks and spent the day there! Read how I did it…

Went to Edinburgh zoo. Also years ago when I was very young went to Bristol zoo, although I don’t remember that.
Part of my summer plans with my friends. Going to be a blast! I haven’t been there in a long time, so I’m really looking forward to it.
Additionally, I am trying my best to have a really fun summer this year. I don’t feel like I’ve had a lot of fun over the last couple of years, ever since university started. 2009 has overall been a good year for me so far. It feels like it’s going to be my year. So I’m letting this wave of optimism take my summmer to greater heights than I’ve ever gone before. =)
Living In God's Exquisite, Miraculous Sufficiency hasn't had time to be on 43T. Been busy with life.
The kids and I go to the Phoenix Zoo regularly when it’s cooler. It’s a great place to take walks and just relax.

I’ve seen strange animals that I have never seen before. It is much better than reading about them in books or seeing them on TV.
I’ve been to quite a few zoos. A couple in Minnesota. One in Idaho. One in Florida. And the most recent one was in Missouri. I love watching the animals and taking their pictures.
Frannie Girl is heading off with her hubby for a few hours of relaxation.
Growing up we actually used to live near the Birmingham Zoo. So we would go almost every week and at night when it was quiet you could sit in our front yard and hear the lions roaring. That was my favorite part…...I miss that actually.
but not fun for the animals. I’m not a huge zoo person. I’ve been to the Bronx Zoo and the San Diego Zoo though.
I love seeing the animals and I know that zoos are one of the only ways to protect the endangered species and ensure that they don’t become extinct but its still hard when I know that in the wild some of these animals would have miles of territory and they have such small enclosures. I’ve always wished I could have been rich so I could buy tons of land somewhere and give those animals at least a little more space.
