i have a classical. totally love the sound it makes, the low echoing and vibrating strings after each strums. maybe its time for a change. hopefully it’ll inspire me improve my musical abilities.

I’m focusing on an SG right now since, well, I’m going electric after my album is done. So, there you have it.

So, here is where I write something odd.
I’m at work, just doing my job and all, and a then I see this guy bring in two guitars (both gibsons, says it on the cases) and for some reason I’m attracted to them. I really want to see what they are. Which usually doesn’t happen to me. Later, the guy is selling them to us and I look at the acoustic case, I don’t know why, I just can’t keep my eyes off of it. Then, when it was put in back I went for it. And when I opened it, I felt something come from the guitar. Like a soul was trapped in it and just escaped into me. (sounds crazy and very ‘a dirty job’) But it’s true. I couldn’t put it down. We were supposed to go see a movie after work but I couldn’t put the guitar down until I finished the song I was playing. It was strange. So, in closing, that guitar has been put on hold. It’s a Gibson J-200 and its awesome. That is my acoustic I’ve been needing. After that, I don’t need any other guitars. My musical desire will be fulfilled. When I play a few shows this coming month, I’m going to take it out for a spin. It’s exciting. Here’s a pic of what it looks like.

In my livingroom, gathering dust- with the occasional swipe of my swiffer duster…I simply have no time to play with kids, work and full time school…alas…

I have been playing guitar for as long as i can remember and i know how hard it is when you dont have one around. If you dont play guitar nip down to a charity shop and buy one there. Its cheap and its doing your bit for charity. If you do play guitar still get one from the charity shop, that way you can go crazy on it and not worry about breaking it. Live the dream. Zakk
