Well technically I finished this ‘thing’ semantically because I celebrated New Year’s Day in two places. Unfortunately, because of a plane malfunction I did not make the actual New Year’s Eve celebration in Hawaii. The goal is off the list now but I would like to make a better go at it later in the future (because one really should be there for each countdown for it to count). Perhaps in 25 years when Sydney Harbor will be celebrating its 100th anniversary. The fireworks on the Harbor were amazing.

    Noosa 2 years ago

I’m now in Australia and having a great time. Two days ago was Boxing Day and I spent it camping on the beach in the town of Noosa. Tomorrow I head to Brisbane to catch a plane to Sydney for my 1st of 2 New Year’s.

I am getting pumped. This should be a fun little adventure. We know where we are going to be partying in Sydney; we do not know where to go in Honolulu. If you have any suggestions please post them in the comments section. Thanks.

I have my plane ticket and I am going to pull this ‘thing’ off. I will be in Sydney Harbour first and then I will fly to Hawaii to do it again. I will post my experience after it happens. This is going to be great.
