I am currently sorting out my priorities as part of my give up apathy goal.
I’m not giving up on the goal, I’m just moving it to ‘Regularly feed my creative side’ to have as an ongoing thing that I will eventually achieve… but right now I am focusing on the more important stuff.

Change of plan

Right! I’ve now decided this is going to be a scrap book of my life… starting from March, which was pretty much the beginning of summer!!
A while back, I did the first two pages… but as you can see they were rubbish – if it’s to be something for me to keep forever then it needs to be good!!
I invested in an A3 sketchbook – a REALLY nice one!! So I’ll rip out the old A4 one and start afresh. I’ve also got lots of photo sheets for Christmas so I’ll print my photo’s out on those to make it even better still!!
Cause it’s A3 now it means I’ve got a lot to work with. I can paint backgrounds too, and make it like my old art books!! Can’t wait to get started!!

I FINALLY found just the kind of scrap book I wanted in order to do this!!
I wanted a ring-binder style because sticking lots of stuff in can make the book look rather ‘fat’ sometimes can’t it, and so I figured a ring binder would hold it together a bit better. :)
Also, my new scrap book is brightly coloured!! :D Always the best way to be!! :)
Plus it was only £1 from ‘Poundworld’ so it was a true bargain!! I just have to start sticking stuff in… but before that I need to finish completing my diary (I missed out a couple weeks of beginning of summer). But if this works well I’ll be able to do this regularly, and my scrapbooks will in a way be my diary. :)
If you’re wondering, I will be sticking something over the front where it says, “My friends & family” haha. :) xx xx xx

So I have the vision. It will not be a collage, it’s a whole scrapbook in my head. It will be all about our relationship – how we met, places we went to…some special moments…and it will be ready by june, when he will receive it on his b-day! I love this guy so much, so I am ready to complete turn my ways around for him…already working towards becoming an early riser and getting more organized, so I can have more time for him…it’s long distance now, but I can still dedicate some hours of the day to the relationship by doing the scrap book…and then, hopefully, when we are together in person I will have learned how to free some hours of the day to spend with him…that would be oh so beautiful…I want to this for him so badly – just imagine how touched he will be. So the plan is to buy the paper materials on wednesday afternoon – step number 1 :).

1. write a story
2. select which pictures + put on cd
3. take pics to be printed out
4. buy a “creative kit” – lots and lots of papers, crayons, etc.
5. Put the collage together – several different frames
6. ask sweetie for mailing address
7. mail
8. he would ABSOLUTELY love that and he deserves it!
