I am pretty organized, I find a place to keep anything and everything. But I would like to make sure things are filed, learn what to keep and what to toss, and stop misplacing things!

How I did it: Here's my current system. Feel free to copy or improve.1) Write everything you want to do in a numbered list. Just write anything, it's better to have too much than too little.2) Label each with a letter, using the following legend: A- This will have a majorly positive or negative effect on my life depending on whether or not it is done. B- This will have a majorly positive effect on my life if done. C- This prevents something bad. D- Thi… Read how I did it…
Jen is packing her world away... my, does it compress down easily!
How I did it: Bit by bit, I threw away papers that I had collected. After the last move, I didn't want to burden someone else's back (or mine!) with all that useless clutter anyway. Bills have a home, notes have a home, papers have a home... I can still do more, but it's better off than where I was even a year ago. Read how I did it…

I finished high school this year and am moving out in a few months, so now is a great time to get more organized. I just finished throwing out all sorts of old papers and crap from my room.
One thing that I’ve realized, and one that I really want to implement in my new house, is the following rule: everything needs to have a place where it belongs. Look around you and see what’s there. Loose screws? Make-up? Thumb drives? Mobile phone chargers? Chances are, there’s a place where you should put it. If there’s not, find or make a place for it. And just so you know, a big bowl full of “stuff” – pens, crumpled receipts, hair ties, loose buttons – does not count as acceptable storage.
my current motivation is the fact that in 1 week, we will have a house full of people, and things need to be clean. i love cleaning, it’s the organizing bit that i’m not so good at… so i took my cleaning energy and threw it at one task: sort through the pile of mail and papers in the living room. and while there is still a pile of papers, albeit smaller, once i clean out my filing box, i can put them away in their right place… hurrah!
i am messy and scatterbrained and i lose things constantly. i lost my ipod 3 times yesterday. i have no idea where my drivers license is. my apartment is cluttered.
i want everything to have a place, and to maintain it on a daily basis.

I have recently become the owner (probably soon to be owned by them) of two cats. One is only about four weeks old and the other is about 10 months old. They are currently being fostered at my son and daughter-in-law’s house. I definitely have even more reason now for wanting to become more organized. After all, I don’t want to lose my new kitties in my clutter!

I’m trying to find some direction to begin working toward this goal. I have a lot of clutter to clear out, but in general I think I need to come up with a plan to do the following in order to become more organized:
1. Remove unwanted items from my house.
2. Room by room, organize the items that remain.
3. Limit/control the quantity of incoming items.
4. Maintain new level of organization.
Overall, I would like to work toward minimalism while still maintaining creative expression.
Omg ,, How much I wanaa orgnize my things ..
I’m living N a mess .. my books ,, my clothes my room Everything n my life need to be orgnized ,, :(
I want to do everything on the right time
I want to orgnize my life :(((

I’m not really sure exactly how I’ll approach this goal right now except for the obvious step of decluttering my house. One thing I have learned the hard way though is that my house always returns to a cluttered and disorganized state when I have no plan to maintain it. I have found that one of the most destructive thoughts that runs through my mind each day as far as my goal of becoming more organized is concerned is, “I’ll just put this here for now.” Now becomes later and later becomes indefinitely. I have to stop doing that!

I’m actually making steps towards this … I am throwing stuff out and donating car loads to Goodwill. It’s so freeing!
