Isabellaaa plans on putting more effort into this list.
I gave my Mum my bank card.
She gave me $150 cash before I went away for the weekend, and I left my card with her and made the money I had last.
Payments and stuff went in and couldn’t be taken out :]

I know it’s a humble amount. I need to open an account at a seperate bank in town. I will then designate one client a month that will be my savings client (minimum). I have to start paying myself first.

who wrote me a $250 check. So I popped it into savings. Not to be touched, to be forgotten. Certainly it could have gone to bills and so forth, but damn, I’ve got to start paying myself first.

I followed the Consumer Credit Counseling guys advice and changed my automatic withdrawls around so I will have 87.00 more each month to pay bills or save.

Well i really owe this goal to my birthday money. I got like $300 for my birthday and i put most of it in the bank. i also bought one of those tins you cant open and I keep putting money in it and I’m going to open it in 6 months time. This goal was so worth it, it feels really good to have money. i want to save up to travel and to buy my own surfboard.

In the pay yourself first philosophy you ignore all other pressing needs and actually make your savings account the most important thing. So I’m going become a saver. For the first time in my life. It would make me feel so proud to have an actual $1000 in the bank. It would make me feel extremely comfortable to have $10,000 in the bank. Ultimately $100,000 in the bank would be my goal.

Well I don’t know how much money i currently have (its not much) but i have been a lot lot better with my money. I’ve stopped spending it on food and have avoided places like the movies to help save it. I’ve also been thinking when im going to buy something whether i actually need it all not.
$250 here i come!
