I got a couple of new ones a month or two ago but I’m not thrilled with them. I mean, they’re fine and all, but I got them from either the Avon or Nutrimetics brochure at work and it’s not like those two have daring colours. I want two or three bold, striking pots. Really hideous colours. Like a crazy lush green, a yellow and a red. Yeah. Yeah. I can only do so much with muted colours.

I don’t wear a lot of makeup at all. This is partly due to laziness, and partly due to inherently good skin. I think it’s also partly that my work environment is good in that it’s not all WEAR MAKEUP AND BE PRETTY BECAUSE YOU ARE FEMALE!!!, it’s okay to show up bare-faced and wearing jeans. Actually, a couple of my workmates have a joke at my expense if I am wearing makeup (I occasionally get eyeliner happy).
Anyway, because I hardly ever wear makeup, I hardly ever buy makeup, so when it comes to going out for a night on the town I only have so many colours of eyeshadow to work with before I have to borrow from my housemates (see photo; housemate’s). Which I should just stop doing and get my act together. I’m getting some mascara and a couple of new eyeliners through nutrimetrics this month (oh work ladies and their nutrimetrics brochure pimping!) so I guess I’ll consider taking on the eyeshadow task next month?
