I was hired on the spot, but it took 9 Years to become a SuperStripper 6 months ago

I was an elementary school teacher, until I couldn’t afford to eat. My paycheck just barely covered rent, car payment and insurance. I fell into dancing with the idea of “just until I finish graduate school and pay off Visa….” That was almost a decade ago. Since then, I have embraced the industry and all the opportunities that it offers smart, business-savvy women who are willing to stand up to the societal stereotypes.

During the dot.com craze, I was making great money and didn’t know what to do with it. The more I made, the more I spent, with most of it going towards rent in California. By 2002 I was drowning in consumer debt and filed for bankruptcy. I identified my mistakes, vowed to never make them again, and began my personal journey towards financial literacy.

In January 2004 I took the Naked Assets DancerWealth sales training class in Las Vegas. Although there have been several copy-cats, Naked Assets is the Original Stripper Sales Training School founded by Adam Sternberg that has been featured in Playboy Magazine, 20/20, and CityLife Magazine. Taking the DancerWealth course was the turning point of my dancing career. Afterwards, I began to experience massive success at closing lapdance and champagne room sales. DancerWealth also inspired me to begin my own journey into personal development. I started with the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

Three years later I began blogging about how to be a successful stripper on Myspace. I even coined the term “SuperStripper” to describe the mindset and process of running a stripping business. The blog blossomed into a fabulous community of like-minded entertainers and those who aspired to become a SuperStripper.

In May of 2008, I assumed majority ownership of Naked Assets. In addition to the original DancerWealth course, I created the DancerWise and DancerVictory courses to coach entertainers towards SupperStripperdom. My personal goal is to continue dancing until I am Financially Free. This means that I have enough passive income from my investments to cover my living expenses. Becoming a SuperStripper has been a life changing experience for me. When I’m old and bleached blonde, I’ll reflect on my stripper experience with fond memories and positive thoughts. Despite the social stigma of being “a stripper” I revel in proving them wrong!

Here is what happened on my first night http://www.stripandgrowrich.com/blog/2009/05/10/my-first-night-as-a-stripper/

Still totally thinking about this in the hypothetical... 7 months ago

How hot do you have to be to do this? I mean, I can just think of a bunch of little body issues that make me nervous about baring my ass to the world, despite being otherwise pretty. Like cellulite, not that I have a lot, I have a normal amount, but what’s the prevalence of that at a strip club? Or like my bottom ribs on the left side didn’t set right when I broke them in middle school, so they’re a little funny looking if you’re paying attention. Plus my boobs, although fairly large aren’t precisely the same size, but I mean a lot of women are like this, so should I be concerned?

And do your really strip down to naked nakedness? Or can I keep like a G-string or V-string on?

Debating on it 9 months ago

I’m thinking about it.I’m sure.Honestly the only that is kind of holding me back from even try out or even a amateur night is 1.I don’t have a car.I have an ok body I just need to lose couple of pounds or so.I also think I maybe too short I’m 5’0 foot.I even asked my boyfriend he said I was too short. He’s usually pretty honest with me.The only reason I want to do this so I can pay off school when I dropped out.I’ll most likely think about for couple of more months or so and see how I feel than if I still want to do this

I was once a stripper 10 months ago

I started dancing a week after I turned 18. I knew someone that danced and she kind of talked me in to doing it, funny how strippers can do that. I was so overwhelmed my first day of work. I couldn’t believe that people actually made money this way. I mean I had just walked out of the club with about $150 my first day, on a tuesday day shift, and I don’t even think I worked a whole shift. I thought hard about it and almost quit my second day due to the fact of me thinking it so unbelievable that I, of all people, could actually be a stripper seriously. I worked at the club for about eight months and finally had to quit because I was starting to let all the guys turning me down for dances get to me. I didn’t have fun at work anymore and I had lost all of the self confidence that i had gain because of the attention these men were giving me. It’s two years later now and I think about dancing all the time. It was a lot of fun and I loved all the different people I got to talk to, but it was hard at the same time not to take it personal when you know you’re not the ugliest girl in the club but you’re the brokest. All in all I have thought long and hard about it and decided that I just need to get my priorities straight between job and personal life and I can do this. I called several clubs yesturday and i really hope that i can find one that i like working at. So I bid you all good luck in dancing if you ever try it. There is a lot of good, and a lot of bad to it, but if you do it right you will have a lot of fun and make a lot of money and possibly even make a few friends along the way.

Ive been dancing for 6 years..started at age 30, which is usually the age that one gets out of the business. I don’t look 30, mistaken for 25, strange, yet flattering. Honey all I can say is you have to be comfortable with yourself, to hell with everyone in the club…they don’t make you or break you. No matter what you do remember…THIS IS A JOB…NOT A LIFESTYLE…WHEN IT BECOMES A LIFESTYLE YOU HAVE A BIG PROBLEM ON YOUR HANDS! When the day comes that you aren’t nervous about getting on stage…IT’S TIME TO GET OFF THE POLE!!!! TAKE CARE AND STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF NO MATTER WHAT THE COST…AND USE YOUR COMMONSENSE, DANCING IS A MEANS TO AN END…USE IT TO FINANCE AN EDUCATION, STUDY FOR A FIELD THAT INTEREST YOU AND WILL FULLFILL YOU IN THE FUTURE…AS I HAVE…A LAW DEGREE!!!!

X Stripper Advice for C.R.E.A.M 16 months ago

I was a stripper for 5 years. I manage to gain financial independence. If you are planing to strip set some basic rules. Never give out your real name. Don’t date customers. Always have a positive attitude. Know what your goals are. Don’t expect to stay in the business for a lifetime. Save your money. Don’t let the money make U!!! Lastly if your not ok with stripping. Work out of town. Don’t tell anyone unless you can live with the fact that you once took off your clothes for a $$$$... Best of Luck…Linda Lou

Right now I’ve been really thinking about stripping because the lack of funding has been keeping me from following most of my dreams. I want to do some world traveling, get my own car, some minor plastic surgery, update my wardrobe, take piano lessons, take guitar lessons, take various forms of dance lessons, hire a personal trainer, buy my parents nice things, quit my two boring jobs, pay off and get rid of credit cards, pay off student loans, move out of my parents and save up for med school. I think stripping is a really fast way to earn a lot of dough for doing basically something that is not hard to do at all, getting men hard. Lol. The more I think about the things I would be able to do with money the more I want to go for it. I’m young, fit, and good-looking I most likely won’t have a chance again once I get older, married, with children. Now is the time. I may become a stripper by the end of the summer because right now Cash Rules Everything Around Me.
