I just don’t have time for this – I had to bail on some outdoor stuff the other week. I will leave it until october when Uni reopens and try and make it somehow with the climbing society. Until then, this is a goal on standby.

I’ve done absolutely nothing on this front. Manage to go climbing once, then nothing for weeks, and so on. Missed all the climbing trips at local club because always busy with work or family stuff. Meh :(

Ahhh if it’s not me, it’s him. We are not disciplined at all. I need someone to push me!
I’ve been bouldering two times a week for several months now. Mostly I have been climbing alone or with random people in the bouldering area at Mission Cliffs gym. Just last month, I got to do some top-roping with my “usual partner” whom I have not climbed with in a really long time. I really started to notice a vast improvement in my balance, crimping and problem solving. I climbed a 5.11c and without untying went immediately back up a 5.10d because I was not “done”.
I was surprised, actually.
While this does mark improvement, I still feel that I have a lot of room to grow and become better.
This will be an on-going task.
