I’m never going to achieve this! I just can’t resist! But they were pretty damn sexy shoes :)

Now this is the harder part. I think I’ve got the sale thing mostly licked now but am not convinced that I only buy needed things.
Also got the Christmas/January sales coming up again :(

so I am marking it as complete. I think it was just a little phase I went through. :)
...or cheap!! I can’t go into Primark these days without coming out with something or other, it’s ridiculous!! But oh so good at the same time – practically guilt free buying because you’re spending so little..
Must stop being lured in!
Seriously I just couldn’t resist this cute as a button bra and panty set though for £3 though, who could?

I’ve slipped a couple of times but not in a bad way. I still need to avert my gaze whenever I see a SALE sign. They’re everywhere all year round it seems.
I’ve had some largish purchases but these were needed.

So far this year on sale, blankets and throws for the house, a velvet jacket/duster and a pair of knit pants for me, and a Dell laptop for my hubby to regain his computer skills while in bed or in his wheelchair.
But . . . good sales and wonderful stuff . . . except for the blankets and throws, the stuff may not have been exactly needed, but it will be loved and enjoyed.

I bought a gift set that I nearly bought at the spa in December but it was 1/3 off and I wanted it anyway. Not an impulse purchase.
No other sales purchases (except some CDs and DVDs that were on my Christmas list but weren’t bought for me – I bought them with vouchers I received) :)

I went into one shop to purposely buy a purple coat (1 of 2 in the same shop that I have had my eye on but wasn’t going to pay full price). Down from £45 to £27 and I didn’t try on anything else or go into any other shops at all.
I did my only other sales shopping online – a particular shop for tall ladies. I have a jumper that I just love and it fits me now so I bought a smaller size in the sale as this one will be too big for me by next winter when I’ve lost the rest of the weight I’m going to lose. I also bought a few other items that are wardrobe essentials (black roll neck, black jeans, purple trousers, etc) that will fit me soon – now to lose that damn weight.

I just resisted a sale from my favorite clothing place, jjill.com. There was plenty I wanted, but nothing I truly needed. I had five items in my cart before I dumped it and closed my browser.
Must . . . stay . . . away . . . from . . . sales . . . argh!
