buy a painting

I bought a painting last week at the annual Art Walk downtown. It isnt a large piece but when I saw it I pictured it on my wall. It is by a local artist and I love the idea of supporting local people.

Buying art can be very expensive – if you are trying to buy art with a budget i would suggest looking into art school shows… you can buy great pieces by students. Also I would suggest buying limited edition prints as well. that might be a more affordable mean.

I started a collective that works towards increasing the accessibility of art and design. the main way that we do this is by using both o the methods above: we get emerging young artists and create prints of their works.
