make a living with my art

but how much to price it? apparently whatever I charged the roommate for a painting she liked, was quite low in her opinion. and she gave me more. next, a three foot, and triptych for a show. I’m checking them off as “for sale” if any visitors are interested.

While it isn’t a living, I’ve been doing a few paying photography gigs and have had requests for others…once I have a digital SLR and photoshop, I’ll really be able to rake in some dough.

I just decided to minor in painting…not that minors really matter a whole lot, but I do so love to paint, and the only thing holding me back from it was the fact that it isn’t typically the most lucrative job title.

Damn it, it’s time that changed.

sounds like a good goal for me to strive toward.

apparently there are some people who do very well with their art here. a friend’s ex-wife paints full-time. but she does have a bit of help financially. need to cut down on my bills. somehow. she used to be a graphic designer.
