But it’s been too long.
Maybe I need to do this again.

Spent a couple days in Italy many years ago. It was all good!
For our 40th birthdays my friend & I splashed out & stayed in a 5 star hotel near the square, I had champers for breakfast, what more can I say. What a way to begin life at 40.

I had brioche and some kind of juice just about every day I was there. Pretty boring. Grapefruit juice was expensive, and considered a big deal. Ordering it at the hotel meant that I was some crazy rich person who doesn’t understand the value of money.
The other meals, though, were experiences to savor for a lifetime.

The most interesting breakfast I had in Italy was Kashi out of a box. We kept the soymilk on the window ledge to keep it cold all night.
But I was with my (then) boyfriend, and the strange exeperience was good. Strange experiences are usually good in retrospect. Besides, Italy was lovely.
