All i need to do is take the GMAT.
How to study for the GMAT

How I did it: I took a lot of practice tests.
Identify my weaknesses early and concentrated on that when I studied.
Used whatever GMAT test prep materials I could find.
Lessons & tips: I studied with a friend. It is easier to learn when you teach someone something and vice versa.

I finally went online to purchase some GMAT study books. So they should be to me this week! I’ve started looking into when and where to take the test. 8AM seems just too darn early for me! Ugh. Having two jobs and now having to study for this, plus accordion lessons…I will have no life basically.
How soon after I start studying do people think I should take the test? I was mostly satisfied with the score I got without any studying at all, I just need to boost my math scores a bit which I think will be easy once I actually look at this information again.
I’d appreciate your input :)

I took a practice GMAT last year and got a 520 with absolutely no studying. So I was freaking out, but I realized that I really just need to put in a little bit of study time, mainly on the math section. I had a pretty stellar undergraduate career so I feel that even if I don’t get a top score I still stand a good shot. Plus the MBA school that I’m looking at isn’t super duper fancy so it’s not like I need a really really high score.
My first step is to buy a study guide this weekend.
