become a meteorologist

I’m definitely going to graduate school. I’m 75% finished with my undergraduate studies and I want to study Atmospheric Chemistry. And I’m spending the summer at NASA which will certain help me with my research skills.

I have decided against the operational meteorology route, although I have many friends going that way. It’s definitely a very important part of meteorology, it’s just not for me!

I finally decided to go to graduate school… just don’t know what to study yet. I always thought Atmospheric Chemistry sounded interesting. Or something practical like fire weather or air quality…

I’m spending the summer volunteering at the National Weather Service. It’s been an awesome learning experience so far!

I’m officially halfway there.

I’ve wanted to be a meteorologist since I was a kid. I went to school for it, graduated and now I have a job as a meteorologist!

this would better my career for my children

I have alway’s been interested in Thunderstorm they are so wonderful Mother nature does Awsome things with the weather patterns i’m wanting to be a Meteorolgist or storm chasing just don’t have the money to take the test…Does anyone have any suggestions for me please let me know. I read the pattern’s on the weather map about all the pressures that’s how get all the info. Here where got the readings of what the pressures and statoinary frons frontal bounderies, and low high trough’s.

after moving to west texas in the middle of tornado alley, i was in awe of these powerful, magnificent storms that pass through frequently in the springtime. we never ever get weather like this back home in Cali. i was concerned for my safety at first, since i’ve never experienced weather like this. now, i turn off the lights and open my door to watch the storms pass by. it has been an inspiration for me and i want to better educate myself. i’m just deceiding if i want to start over in college after already getting an AA in merchandising

I love weather and being able to predict it! Ever since I started to fly I have felt an affinity with it.

dont you just love standing in a storm watching the lightning??

I suppose my other career choice would be storm chaser…..
