I’m not even close to fat, not even flabby really. Just feeling lethargic. I’ve gone out running a mile or so for the past two weeks and I still get pretty stiff, but I am hoping to be able to settle into a comfortable routine.
How to run two or more miles three times a week
How I did it: What I do, and is very helpful is sort of day dream. It's hard to explain, but I just let my mind drift into happy memories with my mates or just making up scenarios in my head whilst running... then I check the clock and I'm like Woah! I'm nearly finished!
Lessons & tips: It's a long process, long term goal.. the weight doesnt exactly drop off you in the first week. I was in my third week and didnt notice much of a difference. Just keep working at it and keep yourself busy.
Resources: I prefer to use a cross trainer.

I now go to a running club every week so that really helps me!
Running really makes me feel good and especially when I’m stressed! Plus i’m super competitive about it so it really motivates me!
Looking at my running logs I’ve ran at least 6 miles a week for the past five weeks… including a six mile run one day. There’ve been some weeks where I’ve only run twice… but we’ll let that slide given the mileage. I think I’m at the overachiever point for this goal, which was to basically get me to start running regularly. Since I’m training for some races now it’s time to make some room for new goals!
...to lure of five-a-side forced me to try and get fit. I’m hoping fitness will prevent injury. I’ve bought a Nike+, but haven’t started to do much with it.

And I am starting to see that I very likely won’t do it again for a while. Perhaps I’ll pick it up again later, but now I just don’t have time. If I were going to bed earlier, I could get up early and do this, but right now no. I’ll work on it. Fine, I’ll try again, but later. I’m tired now.

I’m one day behind, but I’ll make it up tomorrow and run four miles! I can do it! Do it!

Woooo, elliptical machine is awesome. It’s like running, but no pain. I think I will go again today!
I added this goal as a start to my marathon training, which will officially start in the summer. Unofficially, this is the start of it! ;)
There’s a 3.2 K loop around the seawall, starting at my house, and I’ve been running that every other day or so. It’s a beautiful run and you can’t get much more convenient, now I just have to stick with it often enough to make it a routine. I’m leaving this goal up here until that happens.

Yes! I did 6.2 miles on the elliptical machine today, and a whole bunch more working out. It was awesome.
