learn to dance the Foxtrot

Is there a way to do this if you are flat broke?!

I emailed yesterday to check what time lessons are, and they go on pretty late into the evening, which will be perfect for John & I. So no excuses for not getting started soon!

Looking forward to being able to dance properly to “Dream a Little Dream” with my man :-)

Dancing with the Stars is actually very inspirational!!!! One day when I get the time and money…

I’m thinking that I want to learn all the steps up to Silver level and learn a routine with some of these steps. Also, to understand the technique and be able to apply it in a reasonable way.
I think that the best way to make this happen is to book lessons with EC. I hear that he is a good instructor and there aren’t too many decent standard instructors to choose from here. I think that I should be able to accomplish this in 8-10 lessons. Of course, there will always be room to improve more and advance more. :)
If I can’t talk my old instructor into teaching again for a while, I may go ahead and book lessons for this.

The song that my fiance and I have chosen for our first dance is a foxtrot. We took an eight-week dance class a year ago that surveyed six different dances, and the foxtrot was the one dance that we just couldn’t get. (Or maybe it was just me. The rhythm, and how it’s a six-count rather than a four- or eight-count, kept throwing me off.) Time to take another class and hope something clicks this time!
