To Calm My Unquieted Mind! is making dreams a reality - one small step at a time!
Truly one of THEE best experiences of my 40 years of life. I shared it with my son & took him with a group of friends for his 20th birthday.
I can’t even watch the video of it without crying. The photo I have attached to this goal is perfect! I have never had such clarity & peace of mind in my entire life. For that reason alone I would pay nearly any price.
It was such an amazing & spiritual experience that I am actually at a loss for words to describe it. It felt like time was endless, life was limitless, peace surrounded me & was within me, & joy was all there was left to feel.
One of the people we jumped with was a 58 years old man & I was dumbstruck at his reaction – it was so powerful for me that I cannot imagine anyone having anything but an overpoweringly positive reaction/response. Although I understand that we all experience things differently.
I would suggest this to anyone – it is worth every expensive cent – I’d make a way (if I were you) to make it happen. I cannot imagine anyone walking away feeling anything but filled with renewed energy, zeal, & bright thoughts for the future.
(not to mention the adrenaline rush you get – for my son it was almost too much – he could hardly contain himself… for that alone it was worth it too!!!)

My birthday gift to myself. No point in waiting till I’m sixty to get started on my list of things to do before I die. Its the best feeling in the world. Just make sure you go to a place that ppl know about, have sky-divers that have lots of experience. I am looking forward to my first solo free-fall.
My husband took me skydiving for Valentine’s day this year! It was really amazing and I do agree that if you want to do it, it is TOTALLY WORTH IT! :) I was happy with one jump, but Jeremy would like to get certified, so we’ll see….. :)

2008 – THIS IS THE YEAR!!!
15 August 2008 is my son’s 20th birthday. I turned 40 in January & made a firm commitment, that I am constantly following through on, that THIS IS THE YEAR… for making changes… this is the year to follow through… and every other great thing I have wanted for myself.
So, with a group of friends from “COUCHSURFING.COM”, I am taking my son to go skydiving for our first time! I am thrilled, scared (lol), & energized by the fact that I really am following through with so many of my dreams for my life this year.
Dreams can be big or small. This may be one of the rather smaller ones in life – but it’s the small stuff that cares us through & fuels us to newer & greater heights!
THIS IS THE YEAR!!!
