go to the San Diego Comicon

I’m not even sure where to begin. This was my first time going to the San Diego Comicon. It has HUGE. At last report I heard there were about 130,000 people in attendance and I would guess about 5% of them were in costume. I was not one of those 5%.

I had a great time and am so looking forward to going back next year.

So this Comicon is very popular. They’ve set up an online travel center to reserve hotel rooms and such. I booked the first day the site was up and running. A couple days later, all the hotels were booked. Now you have to sign up on a waitlist.

I’m staying at the Wyndham Emerald Plaza, very Wizard of Oz sounding. I know nothing about the place other than it’s within walking distance of the convention center.
