See the previous entry where I said Ulysses is definitely next? That was 10 months ago. Strange enough, I am currently reading the newest Raymond E. Feist.
So to beat the rush, I am making a few New Year’s resolutions now. First is to start trimming my 43 things :-)

... but then, I also changed a few goals :)
I got Ulysses now, my girlfriend bought it for my birthday. But I also decided to spoil myself with American Gods and I got into the newest Raymond E. Feist books.
So I haven’t opened it yet :(
But it is next, after I’ve finished Anansi Boys. Oh, and I need to reread Pride and Prejudice before I go watch the movie.
I’ve decided against official Java Certification, it will not further my career right now and I know the material.

Become Java Certified? Not at all exciting or fun. I’m two-thirds through the material, learning the corner cases I never knew about. So yes, its probably useful.
I’m writing an exam tomorrow (not the Java one), so I had to focus on my studies. So that’s fine. Couldn’t be helped.
But where’s the excitement, where’s the cool stuff? So I spent an evening reading through the Erlang tutorial.
So I cheated. But it was definitely worth it :)

- Focus on my studies, of course
- Read Ulysses
- Getting up each day at the same time
- Become Java Certified
Ok, that’s probably enough. For fun, I’ll throw in two soft targets:

Not that it is not fun, seeing that its my free time which I can spend it like I want to. I’m currently pursuing many diverse interests and I love all the things bubbling through my head.
But hey, lets Get some Things Done. Firstly, I’m moving most of my Things and interests to Someday/Maybe and bringing only a handful to the forefront.
