It was pierced, but I had an allergic reaction to the soap I was using. :( So it’s back to square one…
Hopefully I can get it repierced in a week or so.

How I did it: Dreamed about it for years, moved to India, took a taxi into the heart of Hyderabad city with a bunch of girlfriends, walked my butt into an all-women beauty parlour, sat down, told them to do it, had all the girls hold my hands when it happened, then immediately laid down and put in my feet in the air to prevent going unconscious. But it was totally worth it. Every day I look at my nose and know it is grateful to be decorated. Read how I did it…

How I did it: A beloved girlfriend and I just up and decided to get our noses pierced one day after class, so we went to one of the myriad local piercing parlors in Tempe (they're probably all gone now, alas) and talked to Travis, the cute piercer dude. Of course it took Corena all of 15 seconds to have hers done, but I was such an effing SISSY! IT took 20 minutes for me to finally let him go through with it. I'm a bit of a control fr… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I got it done the day I turned 18 at a piercing and tattoo parlor...it's pretty self explanatory but the guy basically shoved a needle through my nose and then a little nose ring in. My nose bled for a little while and so did my eyes but it was pretty normal for that to happen. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I used an 20 gauge bored hole needle at home. I sterilized eveything, marked the hole, and pushed it through. I then removed the needle and inserted the jewlery. Easy as pie. Hurt less than my ear lobes. Read how I did it…
How I did it: After getting accepted into grad school I decided that now was the time and went and got my nose pierced. My mom had always told me that if I pierced or tattoo'd anything she wouldn't help me out financially anymore... and after getting into grad school I decided that risk was worth it. I pieced my nose at home, while I wouldent reccomend doing it at home I would certanly reccomend getting it done. I absolutly love my nose piercing!

i am going to a pre-college art program this summer with 59 other kids, and figured the risk of infection, like staph etc., would be too high. planning on the end of the summer if i can work up the guts :)

My mom was the one who suggested it like 2 years ago. I did it myself though today to save us the $50.

I want to peirce my nose one day.
Like not a huge ring (you know like a bull has)...but just a small stud.
How does that work?
And by that I mean…blowing your nose…..keeping it clean, keeping it in….stuff like that.
Thanks…..

I always wanted it pierced.
i pierced my belly button myself & i’ve pierced other pplz nose b4
but i nvr did it cuz my parents wouldn’t let me.
but i’m about 2 do it this weekend.
I decided 2 do it this weekend
when i read this quote by Mary Lambert:
Some people look great with a nose ring, but they are usually people who are already beautiful to begin with. The nose ring serves to point out “look, I can put shit on my face and it just underscores that I would look perfect without it.”
hahahahahahaha
cuz i’m sexy like that =)
want to do this myself. I’ve wanted my nose pierced for probably around 2 years and my parents wouldnt let me. So now that I am 18 and I could technically go get it done … I want to do it on my own. I know the consequences whatever, but I like to refer to myself as a do-it-yourselfer. I’m trying to not pay for anything I can do myself. I was going to pay to get this done, but I’ve decided to give it a try. I think I am going to have my boyfriend do it for me because he will do it faster than me because I’ll puss out :]. I know how to keep it clean and such. It’ll turn out and I’ll show it off for ya :]
